Hillel International, founded in 1923, is the world's largest Jewish campus organization. The non-profit operates across more than 850 colleges and universities, with a presence in the United States, Canada, and 16 other countries. Its mission centers on enriching the lives of nearly 200,000 Jewish students annually by fostering connections to Jewish life and values.
The organization employs approximately 1,200 professionals worldwide who deliver Jewish campus life programming. This programming enables students to explore their Jewish identity through learning, holiday and Shabbat celebrations, arts and culture, engagement with Israel, leadership development, and advocacy. Hillel promotes pluralistic Jewish life on campus, welcoming all Jewish students regardless of how they express their Judaism.
With over a century of service, Hillel International operates within the higher education and Jewish community services sectors. The organization strives to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for students, fostering genuine openness and inclusivity across its global campus network.
